Barcelona Card - many advantages

The Barcelona Card offers free admission and discounts to over 80 museums, leisure activities, cultural establishments, shops, pubs and restaurants.
Also, subway and city buses are free. So, you already come from the airport without extra costs into the city centre. At Tibibus, Tombbus and the airport bus will get a discount also.

Along with the Barcelona Card you will receive a tourist guide with a city map, metro map and description of the establishments where you will receive discounts. The guide is available in two trilingual editions (German / Italian / French and Castilian / Catalan / English).

Discovering the city with the open double-decker bus

Whilst on the double-decker bus through Barcelona, you can enjoy the sun and get to know to Barcelona’s places of interests. The double-decker buses are certainly one of the most convenient ways to visit Barcelona. There are three lines which pass alongside most of the sights. You can alight and get on the bus at all 42 stops to visit one of Barcelona’s´ museums, for instance.

With the ticket you will receive a guide with descriptions of the sights along the route.

The northern and the southern route have a driving time of about two hours; the Forum route takes about 40 minutes. At several stations you can switch between the routes. The tickets are valid for all routes. Here you will find a route schedule and respective stops.

Wheelchair users can use the buses except the upper deck.

Who does this ticket benefit?
It is worth buying the ticket if you stay for a longer time in Barcelona and would like to obtain an initial overview of Barcelona and would then like to visit the places of interests. Even for a weekend trip it is worthwhile. The bus stops at most sights. You just get off whenever you are interested by something. In about two to three days you will have passed every sight without missing anything of interest to you.
