The city is towered over by a castle, you can also find a number of smaller churches and medieval towers as landmarks.

Getting to Castelldefels

The Hola BCN! Ticket and the Barcelona Card give you free public transport in the urban area of Barcelona and they are valid all the way to Castelldefels. On top of that the Barcelona Card also offers free admission and discounts at many sights in Barcelona. If you plan a trip to Castelldefels from Barcelona, the Hola BCN! By train you can go quite simply to Castelldefels from Sants, the main railway station in Barcelona. The trip takes about 25 minutes. Tickets can be bought directly at the ticket machine. At the station itself you have direct access to the metro.

Two bus lines go to Castelldefels. 
The autobus L94 and L95 run to Castelldefels on a regular basis from Plaça Catalunya. The L94 towards Sitges only from 14 June -31 August.
The L95 also has a regular service from Plaça Reina Maria Cristina.

From the El Prat airport
Castelldefels is located about 15 km from the international airport El Prat Barcelona. From there the easiest way to get to Castelldefels is by train. You have to change once.
A taxi from the airport to Castelldefels costs around € 20, depending on traffic.

By car you can get to Castelldefels on the highway C32, both from the south as well as from the northern direction. Take exit 46 "Castelldefels center" or exit 44 "Castelldefels South / beach". From Barcelona and the airport you can take the Autovia C31 and take the exits Canal Olímpico, or Casteldefells centro or Castelldefels playas (beach).
