In Barcelona you can safely store your luggage in several places. This is ideal if you arrive by boat, for example, and have some time before flying back. So you can relax and enjoy your time.

You can leave your luggage for storage in the following places:

Lockers at the Estació del Nord bus station

This is the central bus station, where you find yourself if you have to take the bus to Girona airport. The lockers are located directly at the bus stops on the northern side.
You can reach the Estació del Nord by taking the L1 Metro line, "Arc de Triomf" station. It is approximately 400 metres from the foot of the old town (from Parc de la Ciutadella).
Opening times: around the clock, 365 days a year.
Prices: small locker 3,50 €, large locker 5,00 € for 24 hours

Lockers at Sants Estacó train station

At the Sants train station you can also find a large number of lockers directly in the hall. From the station you have access to long-distance trains and trains to the airport.
You can reach the main train station with the L3 and L5 Metro lines, station "Sants Estació".
Opening times: around the clock, 365 days a year.
Prices: small locker 3,50 €, large locker 5,00 € for 24 hours

Luggage compartments at the central Plaça Catalunya

Only a few metres from the central Plaça Catalunya you will find a small street, the Carrer Estruc, 36. Here there is a private company called LOCKERBarcelona, which offer the use of lockers.

This place is ideal if you only have a few hours and want to visit the city. From here you can take the bus to the airport, and with the L1 line you can get to Plaça Espanya, from where the 46 bus goes to the airport. In addition with the L1 line you can get to the Estació del Nord (Arc de Triomf station) if you want the bus to Girona airport.
You can reach Plaça Catalunya with the L1, L3 and L7 Metro lines and with several trains; "Catalunya" station.
Opening times: daily from 08.30 – 21.00
Prices: The lockers have different sizes, by which the price is accordingly set. These range from €3.50 to €7.50, you can always access your luggage at any time without having to pay again. Lockers for bicycles and surfboards are also available.

Luggage storage at the airport

At the airport you can store luggage in terminal T1. There are no luggage lockers in terminal T2.
The lockers are located on level 0 of the terminal, next to the airport lost property office. The way to get there is well signposted.
Luggage will first be screened before you can put in the lockers.
Opening times: around the clock, 365 days a year.
Prices: the minimum duration of 24 hours costs € 4.20 for the small locker, the medium locker costs € 4.80 and € 5.40 for the large locker (all for up to 24 hours). The maximum rental period is 30 days.

Luggage in the cruise terminal / baggage claim

In the harbour there is no possibility to store your luggage. But you can quite easily "get rid" of your luggage: the Delivery Warehouse company will pick up your luggage and bring it to the airport or your hotel, where you can access it. On request, it will also be collected from the hotel and taken to the airport. This service can be booked on the baggage service website.

Luggage storage in hotels

In many hotels you can also store your luggage if you want, for example, if you want to leave later and have already checked out, or if you arrive early and the room is not yet ready. In general, this service is free of charge. The luggage is not always safely stowed away or at least guarded so that no unauthorized person can easily carry your luggage away. Ask at the reception.
