With this tour, you will learn the most important buildings of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Gaudí has personality like no other the image of Barcelona. Many of its buildings are now landmarks of the city by the sea.
Most of the buildings of Antoni Gaudí are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The tour begins on the Ramblas. Almost exactly sizzle the two subway stations Drassanes and Liceu is the small side street Carrer Nou de la Rambla, directly opposite the Plaça Reial. In the Carrer Nou de la Rambla, you will find the Palau Güell, an early work of Gaudí.
If you have not eaten in the hotel, it can be one of the cafes in the area in the Gothic quarter.
Then in the Eixample district. You can use either a stroll along the Ramblas to the Plaça Catalunya and then again about 700 metres along Passeig de Gracia. Alternatively, you can take just the subway station from the Liceu. This goes directly to the station Passeig de Gràcia.
There you will find the Casa Batlló. This building can not visit from the inside, but outside of it is seeing value. Next, the additional 500 meters along Passeig de Gràcia. At the crossing to Carrer de Provença find the building La Pedrera (Casa Milà). Here is an exhibition accommodated, but especially the roof is an absolute must.
About 50 meters from the Casa Milà, along the Passeig de Gràcia, is the metro station Diagonal. From there it goes directly to the station Sagrada Familia. Get off here and you experience the majestic backdrop of the unfinished Sagrada Familia church, on the built since 1883. From the tower you have a wonderful view of the city.
The last stop is something relaxing. Take the subway station Lesseps (change required). From there it's about 15 minutes walk to the Parc Güell. Please take as much time as possible there to walk through the park to stroll and relax.

The ventilation openings on the Casa Milà are not only for practical purposes. The roof of this house is worth seeing.

The Casa Milà (La Pedrera) will also named the quarry house. It has no right angles.
