FC Barcelona - Més que un Club (More than a club)

Here are tickets for home games and Spotify Camp Nou tour

FC Barcelona, often simply referred to as Barça, claims many superlatives for itself: It is the second-largest sports club in the world, its games take place at Spotify Camp Nou, the largest football stadium in Europe. And it has the most registered fan clubs among European clubs.

The Swiss Joan Gamper and some other football fans founded FC Barcelona in 1899. The club is one of the most successful and well-known football clubs in the world. Barcelona plays its home games at the Camp Nou stadium, which has a capacity of over 99,000 spectators, making it the fifth-largest football stadium in the world and the largest in Europe.

Barça is an integral part of the history of Barcelona and Catalonia. On match days, you can feel at every corner that FC Barcelona is more than just a football club here. Hence the motto: "Més que un Club" (More than a Club).

The club's history also includes a great rivalry with Real Madrid - the El Clásico matches are legendary and are considered one of the most intense rivalries in football.

Barcelona has won numerous national and international titles, including several Spanish championships (La Liga), Spanish cups (Copa del Rey), and UEFA Champions League titles. The club also has a remarkable academy called La Masia, known for developing many talented players, including legends like Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez, and Andres Iniesta.

Just as one doesn't need to be religious to be fascinated by Gaudí's church masterpiece Sagrada Familia, one doesn't need to be a football fanatic to be electrified by the tension in the air on match days.

Home games of FC Barcelona

A visit to a home game, or at least a stadium tour, is just as much a "must-see" as landmarks like Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, or the beach.

Most FC Barcelona games are sold out, so booking tickets in advance is necessary, especially for matches against top teams in the league or international games.

Due to stadium construction work, home games will be held at the Olympic Stadium until November 2024.

Stadium tour

The Camp Nou stadium - we're still getting used to the new name with the sponsor "Spotify Camp Nou" - is quite impressive. The sheer size alone is impressive, but the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look at the game operations is exciting. Currently, the club is renovating the stadium. Access to the stadium is not possible until November 2024. However, you can visit the FC Barcelona museum and an observation platform overlooking the interior with the construction site.
